The 2019 general election is over and the unofficial results for county wide races voted on by North East and Greenfield Township residents specific to our area are listed below. In most races, the candidates were unopposed or equal in number to the positions being voted for and are not included here.
The vote on the constitutional amendment or Marsy’s Law, was 40983 yes and 11580 no, however, due to a court challenge, the PA Supreme Court decided the votes would not be officially certified. So the results are an interesting referendum, but the amendment will not become part of the PA constitution.
