The Greenfield Township Supervisors, Erie County, Pennsylvania will receive bids for the Wilson Road Bridge Rehabilitation Project until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, on Friday, July 24, 2020 at the Greenfield Township Municipal Building, 11184 Rich HillRoad, North East, PA 16428, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project will generally consist of the removal and replacement of the existing bridge steel beam superstructure and deck, rehabilitation of the concrete abutments as well as the installation of riprap scour protection, approach and bridge railing and general restoration activities.
Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be reviewed at the Greenfield Township Municipal Building (telephone: 814-725-9110). Copies of the contract documents may be obtained for a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 from Mark J. Corey & Associates, P.O. Box 268, Harborcreek, PA 16421 for each set of contract documents so obtained or by calling (814) 897-3180. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Owner as having obtained the contract documents. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
