NE Borough Council Agenda Includes Discussion About School Arch Project

The agenda for this coming Monday’s NE Borough Council meeting, 2-17-25, includes an interesting item, a discussion about the North East School District’s Gateway Arch project. This may shed some light on a couple of questions raised at the last school board meeting and provides an opportunity for school board members and the public who were surprised by the project to fit a few more pieces into the puzzle. School board members with some free time Monday evening are highly encouraged to attend.

There will also be a discussion on the College Woods Park/Trail Project which many members of the community are very interested in and which promises to be a great addition to the recreational resources in our area.

The meeting will be held in the borough building at 6PM.

  5. When municipalities seek bids for contract work, all bid documents should be available online, free of charge. Printed copies, if requested, should be offered at cost.
  6. Agendas should be posted online a minimum of 3 days before public meetings take place allowing interested citizens an opportunity to hear discussions and offer input on matters important to them.
