At the most recent meeting of the North East Community Marina Authority it was decided to change the board meeting schedule to the third Wednesday at 7PM. The Saturday morning schedule was causing multiple time conflicts and the new time was put forward. The board voted and approved. Again, marina board meetings are now the third Wednesday of the month at 7PM.
In other business, it was also noted that the board still needs a replacement for Kara Haas who recently resigned. Anyone interested in becoming a member of the board has until October 31st to send a letter of interest with a summary of their background to North East Borough. The Borough will make a decision at their regular council meeting on November 4th.
