North East Borough Council Accepting Letters of Interest for Positions of Mayor or Vacancy Board Chairman

The North East Borough Council is accepting letters of interest from eligible candidates seeking to fill the positions of:

• Mayor
• Vacancy Board Chairman

Eligible candidates must reside within the borough continuously for at least one year immediately prior to the individual’s appointment and must be a registered elector of the borough.

Letters of interest will be received through 12:00 p.m. on November 30, 2023. Letters of interest must denote the position being sought and be submitted in writing via:

• email (info@northeastborough.com)
• mail (received by the above deadline, not postmarked)
• or in person at Borough Hall, 31 West Main Street, North East, PA 16428

Letters of interest submitted after the deadline or by other means will not be accepted.
