North East Community Marina Authority Statement on Seawall Damage from Storm

North East, PA – The Board of Directors, on behalf of the North East Community Marina Authority greatly appreciates the immediate response by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, upon learning of damage to the southern seawall, along the Marina Basin, under storm conditions yesterday, April 2, 2025.

The Commission dispatched members of their engineering team who were on-site this morning, to assess the situation and begin developing a strategy for repairs. The Authority will continue to work closely with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission to ensure that all appropriate repairs to the Basin are made, in order to make the Marina safe for all visitors and the Authority will do everything possible to help the North East Community Marina to be open for the 2025 boating season as soon as possible
