North East Township Taking Bids for Twenty Mile Creek Fishing Access Project

North East Township will accept bids labeled Twenty Mile Creek Fishing Access Project until 1:00 pm on Friday, September 16th, 2016 at the North East Township Municipal Building, 10300 West Main Road, North East, PA 16428, at which time they will be opened and publicly read.

The work involves construction of a parking area and paved ADA accessible route from parking area to Twenty Mile Creek.

Copies of contract documents, including plans and specifications for the contract work may be examined beginning August 31, 2016 at the Township or at the office of Greenman-Pedersen Inc, 8 Gibson Street, North East, PA and may be obtained from Greenman-Pedersen Inc upon payment of $100. This payment is for each set of contract documents and is non-refundable. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid. This project is subject to the PA Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rate Determinations, which are included in the contract documents.

North East Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. Karen Ahlgrim, Secretary
