North East Township Will Hold Public Hearing on Proposed Solar Project

Location of proposed 5 MW community solar project in North East Township

North East Township Board of Supervisors and North East Township Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, August 7, 2023, to begin at 7:30 pm. This hearing will take place at the North East Township Administration Building, 10300 West Main Road, North East, PA. 16428.

Grif Jones, Senior Project Manager with Clean Choice Energy will present the development plan for a 5-MegaWatt Solar Energy System to be located on Crawford Road, TR 76 Station Rd., Erie County, Pa. Tax Parcel 37-031-130.0-006.00.

All interested parties are invited to attend.

  2. If you want to see an actual field full of solar panels and the eye sore it is, travel east on Rt. 430 toward Sherman NY. It’s on the south side of the road. Would never want that in my neighborhood!
