North East Township Zoning Hearing Board to Consider Variance

The North East Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a meeting on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the North East Township Administration Building, 10300 West Main Road, North East, PA to consider a request by Mr. Peter Hess. The property location is at the northwest corner of the intersection of Grahamville and Loomis Streets, Tax ID# 37-024-089.0-003.03. Mr. Hess wishes to change the Zoning of this parcel from R-2 Suburban Residential to B-2 Industrial. The property does not meet the Minimum Lot Area required in the Zoning Ordinance for B-2, Mr. Hess is seeking a variance of 0.924 acres from the required 1.65 acre corner lot size in the B-2 Zoning District. Mr. Hess is also seeking an 8 foot variance from the 48 foot side yard setback requirement between B-2 and any R District. All interested parties are invited to attend.
