Waste Management Catching Up with Missed Pickups

Yesterday and today, Waste Management has come through our neighborhood picking up the trash that had been left sitting for two weeks. I spoke to the driver and he said a personnel issue led to problems covering some routes. He also noted there are a number of new drivers in training which is great to hear because so many companies are having a hard time finding enough people ready to work.

I commend Waste Management for doing their best to straighten out the issue, though there could have and should have been better communication from the company to customers affected. They are still scheduled to make their regular pickup later this week, too. Let’s hope things go more smoothly in the future.
