A Simple Illustration of Why Solar Energy Fails on the Grid

There’s a big push for solar energy right now because the government is throwing money at it. In Erie County there are multiple solar projects in the works and they always tell us something like, “This project will power X thousand homes,” like 2 thousand or 5 thousand or whatever other number they make up out of thin air. Now look at the picture above. That is a graph of the actual amount of solar electricity generated on our PJM electric grid on 3-17-2024. Look at where the red arrows are pointing, nothing, no power, and it happens every day because of something called night time. How many businesses or hospitals or sewage plants or … can run with no electricity? How many of those thousands of homes can do without electricity?

Even at 4 AM there is a need for 80 Gigawatts of electricity and most of it is provided by nuclear, gas and coal, all of those things the “green energy” advocates want to get rid of. I guess we’re supposed to turn everything off all night long. Something to think about.

  1. Everyone has the right to know what their government is doing.
  2. Transparency is expected in all government meetings and daily operations.
  3. Everyone working in the government works for, and is answerable to, you and me.
  4. All laws, regulations, ordinances, budgets, audits and other public records should be freely available, preferably online, for citizens to examine without special fees and paperwork before they can do so.
  5. When municipalities seek bids for contract work, all bid documents should be available online, free of charge. Printed copies, if requested, should be offered at cost.
  6. Agendas should be posted online a minimum of 3 days before public meetings take place allowing interested citizens an opportunity to hear discussions and offer input on matters important to them.

  2. Thank you for the info! SPOT ON!!! It is another Climate Hoax scam with tax payer dollars being spent in futility, let alone the overall environmental impact on the wildlife and nearby homes that the “Solar farms” have which many generally do not think about. As well as the “batteries”…..how are they made? How long do they last? Where and how are they disposed of when no longer “good”?

    financial scam theft. Legitimated Scientific research should
    accompany all climate projects; not just popular support.
