On Thursday, August 22nd, three male individuals were found inside the Miller building at the Mellon Veterans Outreach Center. Personnel from the center were inside the building and encountered the intruders. The trespassers ran and fled through a window. Patrolman Cornelius from the North East Police Department was there at the time and gave chase, but the individuals were able to evade capture.
The investigation into the break-in is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the North East Police Department at (814) 725-4407. If you live nearby or frequent the area and see suspicious activity, please do not hesitate to report it. Video surveillance on the property is being increased.
Violators, if apprehended, will be prosecuted.

I bet there are veterans who would gladly guard the center to protect it from this kind of riff raff.

Could it be the same three from a home video surveillance posted earlier in the week?
Paul Crowe says
Good information and I have a hunch someone could recognize the individuals in that video
Paul Crowe says
That’s not a bad idea
Concerned citizen says
I wonder if there is any connection to vandalism at the school turf project?
Paul Crowe says
That was my first thought
America First says
I was wondering about a possible connection as well
Pete Mortensen says
It is also said that these same 3 individuals vandalized the new stadium project, as well. They apparently dumped out buckets of adhesive all over the new track and we’re caught on camera.
Whether you’re for or against the project, we all agree that vandalizing areas of your own hometown shouldn’t be tolerated.
Paul Crowe says
Vandalism of any sort should not be tolerated.
