Cruise-In at Gibson Park Brings Rolling Memories of Cars Gone By

Were you there? The park was surrounded by classic cars, hot rods and car enthusiasts from all over the region. There was 60s music in the air and internal combustion engines in abundance. There was a 1969 Charger with a 440 Six Pack, a 63 Ford Falcon with a 260 V8, a gorgeous 66 Ford Ranchero and a whole lot more.

If you like old cars and you missed it, there’s still two more chances this year when the park will again host a cruise in. If you grew up in the original muscle car era like I did, you’ll appreciate what these beauties represent.
