NE Community Marina Authority Issues Final Draft of Bylaws for Public Review

The North East Community Marina Authority has released a final draft copy of their bylaws for public review.

When the Board of the North East Community Marina Authority met at its January meeting, copies of revisions to the Authority’s working Bylaws were distributed to the members of the Board, based on the guidelines and template provided by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for municipal authorities.

This effort was intended to provide advance notice of all proposed revisions with advance public notice so that a final version of Bylaws may be formally adopted by the Authority.

A few additional comments were received from Board members and those are included in the final draft to be posted at the Marina, at the North East Borough Office, at the North East Township Office and on North East PA Online.

Final discussion and formal adoption of Authority Bylaws will take place as part of the agenda for the Authority’s February meeting which will take place at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19th, at the Marina.

  1. Does anyone know how to reach the Marina Board? I sent an e-mail with a question about a boat slip and have not heard anything from them.
