In a very well attended NE school board meeting Thursday evening, numerous members of the public got up to express their concern over the proposed changes to school policies. The proposed policies are based on the 2024 updates to Title IX and the inclusion of gender identity when determining sex discrimination. As a result of the discussion, the vote was postponed until board members and the public had an opportunity to read through the changes again.
Moms for Liberty is a national organization protecting parental rights and they have been in the forefront of fighting these radical Title IX revisions. Schools attended by children of members of the group are prevented from implementing these changes:
A suit filed with the U.S District Court for the Kansas District by several states, a student and three organizations — Moms for Liberty, Young America’s Foundation and Female Athletes United — led to a July injunction that prevented the new rules from taking effect in schools attended by children of Moms for Liberty members across the country.
Nearby in the Meadville area, both the Crawford Central and PENNCREST school districts have children of Mom’s for Liberty members and are now exempt from the updates:
All of the schools in Crawford Central and PENNCREST school districts were included in the latest list of schools exempt from updated federal Title IX regulations that went into effect last month.
As a result, a planned Crawford Central School Board vote on revised discrimination and sexual harassment policies is on hold and PENNCREST School Board won’t be considering similar changes.
It appears two of the schools in North East have member children, though the elementary school, currently does not, though that may change shortly.

This socialist attempt to amend title IX to include gender identity is just another method of social engineering to diminish the importance of nuclear families. Gender identity is nothing but a solipsistic construct to validate the individual’s mental illness. For proof, I refer you to the Nashville shooter’s manifesto and autopsy drug report. Gender identity has no reason to justify inclusion in any school system or society in general. It is a mental disorder and should be treated as such.

Totally agree, Gender disorders have no place in schools.

I cannot believe this is even a consideration in the NESD. EVIL beyond. So happy that I retired from the NESD,
However, I am very sad for Christian people who could be forced to accepting an agenda that is pure Satanism. I would have quit my teaching position when presented with evils I could never accept.
