NE School Board Holds Reorganizational Meeting and Elects New Officers

The North East School Board held their reorganizational meeting before Thursday’s regular board meeting. Board members voted to determine officers in the coming year.

Board President:
Nominations for president were Mackenzie Luke and Jim Wargo. Winner: Jim Wargo
Board Vice-President:
Nominations for vice-president were Alene Rohde and Mackenzie Luke. Winner: Alene Rohde
Board Treasurer:
Alene Rohde was the current treasurer and members cannot hold multiple positions.
Dr. Jane Blystone was the only nomination. Dr. Jane Blystone.

Board members with terms expiring next year:

  • Alene Rohde
  • Dr. Jane Blystone
  • Nick Mobilia
  • Corrie Boyd

  5. When municipalities seek bids for contract work, all bid documents should be available online, free of charge. Printed copies, if requested, should be offered at cost.
  6. Agendas should be posted online a minimum of 3 days before public meetings take place allowing interested citizens an opportunity to hear discussions and offer input on matters important to them.
