When Bob Mazza won the contract for marina operations last November, he said there would be a new restaurant with a Pennsylvania focus. Noosa is its name and the new management team is now in place, but they have their work cut out for them. There’s a lot of remodeling and updating needed before they can open their doors and do what they do best, make great food.
Located on the shore of Lake Erie at the Northeast Marina, Noosa will feature delicious, contemporary sandwiches, fish & steaks all complemented by a beer, wine & spirits list (Only from PA producers!)
The group consists of Dan Kern, Jb Innes, Mike Karle & Adam Williams with a combined 70 years of restaurant experience!
We have an amazing opportunity to create a new restaurant at the Northeast Marina & help grow our independently owned business! Erie county’s ONLY lakeside restaurant with the most amazing panoramic view of the sunsets over Lake Erie! Docking services will be available (sail or boat to dinner!) and we are in the heart of wine country! Our beer, wine & spirits program will consist only of Pennsylvania made products!
Before they can open their doors and add another fine business to the North East area, they need your help. They’ve pooled their resources which gets them rolling, but they’ve started a crowdfunding campaign with the goal of raising $25,000 so they can do all of the necessary work up front, instead of doing it in stages over a longer period.
You can contribute as little as $2 dollars or as much more as you wish. They offer some nice perks at each level over and above giving you the good feeling of helping a new business get on its feet. If you head over to Indiegogo, you can get all of the details and while you’re there, kick in a few dollars. You’ll be glad you did.
UPDATE: The Indiegogo campaign has ended

I’m looking forward to Noosa opening. I have always loved the location and am happy to hear someone experienced in dealing with the public & providing good food (opinion of people who frequent 1201 in Erie), is finally taking over. I can’t wait to visit..
Best of luck!

Have so looked forward to the opening of Noosa. Decor is beautiful, food delicious, however I am concerned that it is not conducive to a Marina, where you can buy bait and take a shower. A tad pricey and a tad too fancy actually. I can not imagine stopping by on a hit summer afternoon for a pricey PA beer and a pricey appetizer of smoked trout. However, I hope I am wrong.
