The North East Borough Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in the North East Borough Chambers, 31 West Main Street, North East, PA 16428. The Zoning Board will hear the following variance requests:
Kimberly Chapman, obtained a lease agreement with North East Chamber of Commerce, owners of 44 West Main Street, (Parcel No. 35002018000900) requests a variance to open a bakery. The named parcel lies in a R-B Multiple Family Residential District. Ordinance No. 903 Part 4, Sec. 403 C-1 Commercial District and Sec. 405 Permitted Use and Special Exception Use Table state Commercial business activities, food establishments, are permitted in C-1 Commercial zoned districts but are not permitted in R-A Single Family and R-B Multiple Family zoned districts.
Timothy Bertram, owner of 40 Gibson Street, (Parcel No. 35001020002300) requests a variance to provide professional office space for lease. The named parcel lies in a R-B Multiple Family Residential District with a C Classification under Erie County Government. Ordinance No. 903, Sec. 405 Permitted Use and Special Exception Use Table states Professional Offices are permitted through Special Exception.
