North East Township Planning Sewer Extension Project on Route 89

The public is hereby notified that North East Township is preparing sewage facilities planning documents for submission to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. The project involves extension of a gravity sanitary sewer system on State Route 89 to serve limited areas south of Interstate 90 and potential future connections. User fees for service from this project will remain consistent with current North East Township sewer fees.

A 30-day comment and review period commences effective on the date of this notice. Interested and/or affected parties are encouraged to comment on this proposed project. The public may review aspects of this project at the North East Township Office, located at 10300 West Main Road, North East, PA.

All comments are to be submit in writing to Fredrick Shunk, Supervisor; North East Township Supervisors; 10300 West Main Road, North East, PA 16428.
