North East Township Water & Sewer Authority, Erie County, Pennsylvania will receive sealed bids for the State Route 89 Sanitary Sewer Extension Project until 1:00 p.m., prevailing time, on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the North East Township Municipal Building, 10300 West Main Road, North East, PA 16428, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bids are invited to supply and perform the following materials, equipment and work, EXCEPT THAT THE OWNER SHALL FURNISH ALL OF THE 10 INCH DIAMETER HDPE SANITARY SEWER PIPE FOR INSTALLATION BY THE CONTRACTOR:
Installation of approximately 4,360 lineal feet of 10 inch diameter HDPE sanitary sewer line, directional drilled, including precast concrete manholes, sewer laterals and other appurtenant and restoration activities on State Route 89 near the Interstate 90 interchange.
Contract Documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be reviewed at the North East Township Water & Sewer Authority Office. Copies of the contract documents may be obtained by submitting a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 to Mark J. Corey & Associates, P.O. Box 268, Harborcreek, PA 16421; (814) 897-3180 for each set of contract documents so obtained. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record as having obtained the Contract Documents.
Each bid must be submitted on the bid form provided in the bidding documents and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier’s check or bid bond with corporate surety payable to North East Township Water & Sewer Authority in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price.
Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. Bids may be held by the Authority for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications for bidders prior to awarding the contract. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
