The delegate candidate choices of the Trump campaign, Klein, McClure and Khare, won all three available slots in the 5th congressional district. Since most delegates vote for the candidate chosen by the popular vote in the district, this really would have the most impact if Trump did not win on the first ballot at the convention. He won the Pennsylvania primary in a landslide, 56.76% statewide and 52.16% in Erie County.
Normally, the delegate races are a relative non-issue, though this year, with the delegate count on everyone’s mind, these races were beginning to appear like they might have a dramatic impact at the convention in Cleveland, however Trump’s 5 state sweep on the 26th makes a contested convention far less likely.

Thank goodness we have a chance to finally put someone in the White House who is not fighting against what is best for the people.
