Changes Underway at the Mellon Heritage Veterans Outreach Center

Interviews are currently taking place for an individual to direct daily operations at the Mellon Veterans Outreach Center. The former director, Dan Adamus, no longer holds that position and the decision to choose a replacement will be made soon.

Also, the Mellon Center website is presently offline. It will be updated and back in operation shortly.

And a reminder, the Robert Irvine Foundation will be sponsoring a veterans resource and family fun day on August 2nd.

Many changes are in the works for the Mellon center in the upcoming months to better serve our veterans and first responders in the North East community and surrounding area. Be sure to check back here at North East PA Online for up to date information.

  5. When municipalities seek bids for contract work, all bid documents should be available online, free of charge. Printed copies, if requested, should be offered at cost.
  6. Agendas should be posted online a minimum of 3 days before public meetings take place allowing interested citizens an opportunity to hear discussions and offer input on matters important to them.
