What’s more important to a boater than almost anything else? The weather. At the last meeting of the NE Community Marina Authority, there was a discussion about adding a live weather camera looking out over the marina and Lake Erie. Everyone thought it was a great idea and it just went live. If you have a boat docked at the marina and you’re wondering what the weather looks like, wonder no more. Just take a look.
Not just a camera, it’s a weather station, too!
Making this camera even better, it’s equipped with a live weather station and the current weather statistics are displayed right next to the image; temperature, humidity, wind direction and speed, dew point, barometric pressure and more. Very informative and exactly what you want to know if you’re thinking about heading out on to the lake.
The camera has pan and zoom capabilities, so the image you see may change from time to time.
This camera is part of the WXLOGIC network of Hazcams with cameras in locations all over the United States.
Not only will boaters really appreciate this information, the entire community will be able to get an up to the minute weather report when conditions are changing.
Very nice work from everyone involved in getting this set up. Check it out. NE Marina Weather Cam
