Today is the start of the two day America 250 celebration taking place at the Mellon Veterans Outreach Campus. There is a long list of events scheduled with a car show beginning at 2PM, followed by live music, a veterans presentation at 4:30PM, car show awards at 5:00PM and followed again by more live music.
Tomorrow, July 3rd, there will be a bike show, live music, a veterans presentation, a bike parade and raising of the colors with skydivers bringing the flag. The day will end with a fireworks display at sunset.
There will be static military displays, multiple vendors and food and beverages available. You will also be able to see much of what the Mellon Veterans Outreach Campus has to offer. Come on over and help celebrate America’s 250th birthday.
Parking will be available off Sunset Road and North Pearl Street.
Only Certified Service Dogs are welcome on Campus. No pets allowed. Please do not bring outside food and drinks to this event.
