North East School District 2024-2025 Budget Proposes 5.94 Percent Tax Increase

The proposed 2024-2025 budget for the North East School District will be presented at the board meeting on Thursday, April 18th and it contains a recommended tax increase of 5.94 percent. This follows last year’s increase of 3.82 percent and in the year prior to that 3.83 percent.

Final adoption is scheduled for June 6th, 2024.

This budget and the proposed tax increase as it stands should be rejected by every school board member.
