Businesses and individuals throughout the ten counties making up northwest Pennsylvania are joining together to promote our region in an effort to make sure we are part of the energy and technology transformation taking place everywhere. Power Northwest was formed to give these PA counties a single voice to make sure we are not overlooked when energy and AI investors are looking for the best locations with the necessary resources to build their businesses and related infrastructure.
Their focus seems to be on AI data centers and energy, but every industry in in their sights:
Power Northwest will be a vocal advocate for attracting investment and jobs to northwestern Pennsylvania. Working to keep local jobs and grow new industries, Power Northwest is committed to aligning interests and selling our region.
It’s becoming more apparent to everyone in our region that we cannot sit back and wait for opportunities to come to us, we have to look for them, promote our region and make sure we are ready to take advantage of each and every project. Our region was once an industrial powerhouse for the entire country, but over the years it’s steadily declined. What’s happening now is our chance to get back in the game.
Perhaps they could help us move forward with the shipyard project. It certainly fits into their plans to rebuild northwestern PA with high impact development.
