The North East Community Foundation is hosting a Candidate Meet & Greet Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7 pm in the Ridge Building at the Mellon Veterans Outreach Campus.
All residents of North East Borough and Township are invited to learn more about the candidates running for local offices in the Nov. 4 Pennsylvania Municipal Election. This includes Mayor, Borough Council, North East Township Supervisor, and North East School District Board of Directors, plus countywide elections for County Executive, Clerk, Sheriff, and Judge of the Court of Common Pleas. Each candidate will give short remarks and then be available after the program for individual conversations with constituents.
The program will also be live-streamed on The North East Community Foundation’s Facebook page for those who are unable to attend in person.
Please enter the MVOC campus from Route 89 and park in the large lot. The Ridge Building is the two-story glass fronted building with a flagpole.
