Now this is more like it, three car shows in August! Last month we got started with a cruise in around Gibson Park and this month the cruise in will be joined by two more on the schedule.
NFI Empire Car Show
Saturday, August 10th, 11AM to 2PM
Live music from Jake’s Blues. Awards and dash plaques, ice cream, too.
No entry fee.
Crusaders Car Show
Friday, August 16th, 6-8PM in the St. Greg’s parking lot
Small Town Cruise-In
Thursday, August 29th, 5-8PM around Gibson Park.
Family friendly games and food.
Summer is the perfect time to fire up that classic car or hot rod and take it to the car show for everyone to see and appreciate. It’s a great reminder of a time when cars didn’t all look the same. Tail fins, chrome and big gasoline engines for cruising down the highway and maybe a little street racing, too. (Shhh, don’t tell!) I remember those days and I bet some of you do, too.
