NE Borough Accepting Letters of Interest for Position on Marina Authority Board

The North East Borough Council is accepting letters of interest from eligible candidates seeking to fill one (1) open position on the North East Community Marina Authority Board. The North East Borough Council is seeking qualified professionals with new ideas and subject matter expertise in marina operations, business, accounting, other related fields, or a combination of skills/experience.

Eligible candidates for the North East Community Marina Authority must reside within the Borough or North East Township continuously for at least one (1) year immediately prior to the individual’s appointment.

Letters of interest will be (received, not postmarked) by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Letters of interest must be submitted in writing:

Letters of interest submitted after the deadline or by other means will not be accepted.

  5. When municipalities seek bids for contract work, all bid documents should be available online, free of charge. Printed copies, if requested, should be offered at cost.
  6. Agendas should be posted online a minimum of 3 days before public meetings take place allowing interested citizens an opportunity to hear discussions and offer input on matters important to them.
