Sealed bids will be received by North East Township; 10300 West Main Road; North East, PA 16428, until 12:00 p.m. prevailing time on the 3rd of February 2023 for Freeport Pump Station Procurement, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project will consist of furnishing and delivery of one (1) Packaged Wastewater Pump Station as manufactured by the Gorman-Rupp Company. Installation will be bid at a later date.
Each Bid must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of a certified check, bank cashier’s check, treasurer’s check, or bid bond in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price in accordance with provisions contained in the “Instructions to Bidders” section of the Specifications. Proposal Security shall be made payable to the North East Township.
Copies of Bid Documents and Specifications may be examined at the North East Township Office or at the office of Greenman Pedersen, Inc., 8 Gibson Street, North East, Pennsylvania 16428 (phone: 814-725-8659/e-mail: email@example.com). The Contract Documents may be obtained from Greenman Pedersen, Inc. upon a non-refundable payment of either $25 for electronic Contract Documents or $50 for hard copy Contract Documents. Bidders or vendors requesting next day or special mailing will be responsible for all mailing or shipping charges. Bidders must be on record at the issuing office as an official plan holder. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons or companies who have purchased a full set of contract documents.
Except as otherwise expressly permitted by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of 60 days after date of bid opening.
The North East Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any part of any bid, and to waive any and all informalities in connection therewith.
