The Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit is currently underway in Carlisle, PA, with hundreds of companies, executives and investors. The summit is there to show how PA companies, with their technology and innovation can lead the charge in helping the President’s Peace Through Strength initiative.
Senator McCormick, in the video below, gives a brief description of what the summit is all about and over his right shoulder there is a prominent display promoting the potential shipbuilding facility in Erie. That kind of exposure is exactly what we need to raise the possibility of building ships right here. Erie’s Mayor, Daria Devlin and Erie County Executive, Christina Vogel will be promoting the Erie area.
