Here are the results of the May 20th primary election. The local races generating the most interest were for the four seats on the North East School Board.
Winners for school board on the Democrat side are:
Jane Blystone, Corrie Boyd, Ginny Schwartz and Alene Rohde.
The Republican school board winners are:
Neil McCord, Corrie Boyd, Amanda Steeneck and Jane Blystone.
All candidates for school board cross filed and appeared on both Democrat and Republican ballots except for Neil McCord.
In November, voters will choose four from these six candidates:
- Jane Blystone
- Corrie Boyd
- Ginny Schwartz
- Alene Rohde
- Neil McCord
- Amanda Steeneck
Other races of interest
